At SMG Vets and Farm Services, our Animal Breeding and Improvement program is dedicated to enhancing animal genetics, fertility, and productivity using proven scientific techniques. Implemented through Mukisa Veterinary Clinic, this program applies advanced reproductive technologies such as Artificial Insemination (AI), Embryo Transfer (ET), and heat detection to help farmers achieve faster herd improvement, better yields, and reduced breeding costs.
We combine field experience with laboratory support to deliver accurate, timely, and affordable reproductive solutions. Whether for dairy, beef, goat, or pig production, our goal is to increase conception rates, improve offspring quality, and build resilient, high-performing herds that meet modern market demands.
Our AI service provides access to high-quality semen from superior breeds of cattle, goats, and pigs sourced from reputable genetic centers. This ensures improved milk yield, meat quality, and reproductive performance without the challenges of natural mating.
We conduct ultrasound-assisted pregnancy diagnosis and reproductive examinations to monitor breeding success and detect early signs of reproductive disorders.
We guide farmers in genetic selection to produce stronger, more productive animals through planned breeding. Using performance data and breed profiling, we match sires and dams for optimal results.
